Reading

Learning from one another can be best carried out through immediate sharing and common church life. But while Christians live in their own ecclesiastical environment, they can learn about other Christians' spiritual and church life by reading, too. Often reading can be the only means of getting to know one another before Christians meet and come to real sharing in the Lord.

On this page we are going to put articles, essays, stories and books about our Christian customs and rituals, as they can be best received and comprehended. There will be reading materials on our theology and doctrine, too, and we would aim to present them in the most comprehensive form so that both the Orthodox and the Western Christians can easily grasp the deepest issues of faith and spirituality.

Please note that it us - the Christians who long for spiritual sharing and who work for the union in the name of the Lord - who will write (or translate, or re-write, or re-publish) the reading materials of this page. So any suggestion is welcome and be sure that everything which serves the goals of ChristianExchange will be published here so that everyone could benefit from our experience*. If you have already written your own books or articles or other materials on Christianity and its spirituality and ecclesiastical practice, and if you want it published on this website, please contact us and we will put your writing here.

On the other hand, if you want to buy a book, you can do so by submitting an order. Buying a book is the best way of reading its full text, as all new books will be presented here only through small extracts. The extracts however will give enough material for thinking and reflecting and if you or your church decide to have the book, we will ship it to you if you place an order on the "Services" Page.
